L'HISTOIRE : Une nation de plus en plus nombreuse de singes génétiquement évolués, dirigée par César, est menacée par un groupe d’humains qui ont survécu au virus dévastateur qui s’est répandu dix ans plus tôt. Ils parviennent à une trêve fragile, mais de courte durée : les deux camps sont sur le point de se livrer une guerre qui imposera l’espèce dominante sur Terre.

 

WETA Digital, le studio d’effets visuels oscarisé, emploiera la toute nouvelle génération des technologies de performance capture développées pour LA PLANÈTE DES SINGES : LES ORIGINES et AVATAR, afin de créer des singes au rendu photoréaliste capables d’impliquer émotionnellement les spectateurs.
